Really enjoyed my time here and do recommend this place. I had 1 night in Chaintre, spending the time here really good. The location of the property was prime and beautiful, in the middle of the city. It was also not far from the restaurant as well as vineyards.

The rooms at Château de La Barge are just perfect for a low-budget traveler like me. I stayed in a double room with a pool view, and it made me feel like I was in a luxurious paradise. The air conditioning was a lifesaver during the hot summer days, and the flat-screen TV provided some much-needed entertainment. The private bathroom was clean and had everything I needed. Plus, there was a wardrobe to keep my clothes organized. a comfortable and cozy room!
Personally, I didn't fancy the electric kettle in the double room. But hey, that's just my preference, you might still find it useful!

I recently stayed at Chateau De La Barge for a few nights and it was truly amazing. The medieval look of the château combined with the beautiful natural surroundings made for a stunning setting. The staff, especially Jennifer, Juliet, and the other two young ladies, were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, and the restaurant showcased the renowned Lyon gastronomy. The hotel grounds were perfect for walking our dog. The receptionist, Natalie, went above and beyond to assist us during our stay, even helping us retrieve a forgotten item. The hotel's proximity to the motorway and ample parking made it a convenient choice for our travels. I also appreciated Natalie's recommendation for a nearby restaurant, which turned out to be excellent.
Would recommend this hotel.
