The terrace at Chateau De La Barge was a delightful spot for dinner, with a cute and charming ambiance. The restaurant staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome. The food was also quite enjoyable, satisfying our taste buds.

Really enjoyed my time here and do recommend this place. I had 1 night in Chaintre, spending the time here really good. The location of the property was prime and beautiful, in the middle of the city. It was also not far from the restaurant as well as vineyards.

The rooms at Château de La Barge are just perfect for a low-budget traveler like me. I stayed in a double room with a pool view, and it made me feel like I was in a luxurious paradise. The air conditioning was a lifesaver during the hot summer days, and the flat-screen TV provided some much-needed entertainment. The private bathroom was clean and had everything I needed. Plus, there was a wardrobe to keep my clothes organized. a comfortable and cozy room!

Personally, I didn't fancy the electric kettle in the double room. But hey, that's just my preference, you might still find it useful!

The hotel's proximity to the motorway and ample parking made it a convenient choice for our travels. I also appreciated Natalie's recommendation for a nearby restaurant, which turned out to be excellent.

The outside terrace, staff friendliness, and cute decor make for a super enjoyable stay. The food is decent, location perfect, and the grounds are great for walking our dog. The receptionist Natalie was extremely helpful and they even called to inform us about a forgotten item. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this hotel for its convenient location, motorway access, and ample parking. Plus, the recommended restaurant nearby was mind-blowingly delicious. The medieval look of the château and the friendly crew add to the jaw-dropping charm. So quiet and exquisite, we had a really good time!
